This is better termed an action or kinetic tremor in that the oscillation happens when a person is actually performing an action, not just intending to do it.. Intention tremors occur during or especially at the end of a purposeful movement, such as trying to press a button or touching the tip of one’s nose. These tremors indicate damage to the cerebellum or its connections.
